Does Jetta offer any other products other than whirlpool tubs? Yes, we carry designer vanities, freestanding tubs, classic claw-foot tubs, waste & overflows, and many other whirlpool accessories.
What is the warranty of Jetta products? Jetta Bath Systems are provided with a limited 10-year warranty.
What is the Stay Hot Guarantee? Jetta guarantees that the water temperature in our insulated whirlpool and soaker baths will stay within 2 degrees of its original temperature after 30 minutes of use. Our fully insulated whirlpool and soaker baths with low density foam insulation and passive warm air induction systems help keep you warmer, longer.
What does passive, warm air induction system mean? To offer you the warmest bath experience possible, Jetta baths are plumbed so that heated air is quietly recirculated from the motor back to the bath water through the jets.
What is the purpose of the Tri-ssage Control? This control allows you to operate your bath with 3 distinctive flow rates, offering the same benefits as a multi-speed pump.
Can additional jets be added to my bathtub? Yes, additional jets can be added to some models. Contact a Jetta representative for more details.
Does the drain kit come with the whirlpool? No, this is optional. We offer a Geberit Waste & Overflow which is cable controlled and the drain function is performed by turning the handle.
Are the holes for the faucets pre-drilled on my unit? No, since there are many different types and models of faucets available on the market, we do not want to limit you to one specific type. Your plumbing contractor will drill your holes for your faucet during installation. (Faucets can be placed directly on the deck of the bathtub.)
What type of service access is required for my Jetta Bath System? The minimum access panel requirement for the pump is 18 x 18.
Is it necessary to install my bath in a bedding compound? Yes, it should be installed in 1 to 3 of bedding compound evenly distributed under the base to provide maximum support and even weight distribution. Also, it acts as a leveling product because it is possible that the floor could be unlevel.
Can I connect all my pumps/motors on the same electrical line? No, you will need a separate GFCI breaker and line for each motor/pump.
Some of my jets are not working; water is not coming out of them. The jets are adjustable and can be turned to increase or decrease the amount of air and water flow. On the large jet, turn the inner nozzle counterclockwise to increase pressure and clockwise to decrease pressure. On the small jet, turn the outer face plate of jet counterclockwise to increase pressure and clockwise to decrease pressure.
It is my first time to use my Jetta Bath System and it will not start, what do I do? First be sure you have a dedicated power source. If any other equipment is operating off of the same circuit, it may overload the circuit and trip the breaker. Be sure the breaker is not tripped, to assure that electricity is flowing to the outlet. Then, check to make sure your GFCI (ground fault control interrupter) which is connected to your dedicated outlet has not tripped. This is usually located under the tub, on a wall, or in a closet. If the GFCI has tripped, your will need to reset the GFCI. Next, check power to the receptacle where the motor is plugged in by plugging in a hair dryer. (If motor clicks but wont come on, this usually means that there is not power to the receptacle.) Then, check to make sure both ends of the CVT (clear vinyl tubing) are attached. One end is attached to the underneath side of the transmitter button that you push and one end is attached to the air switch located in the box on top of motor. (When you push the air switch and do not hear a click at the pump, this usually means the CVT is not attached.)
Do I need to clean the whirlpool system? Yes, it is recommended that your whirlpool system be flushed twice per month. Please refer to the maintenance instructions for the procedure.
Can I add bath oils or salts to my whirlpool? It is not recommended to add any type of oils to your whirlpool but bathing salts can be used as long as they do not contain any type of oil.
